Routines of gratitude are beneficial

You may not know this but a routine in and of itself creates positivity!

Imagine what a gratitude routine might do for your mental state.  I am a H-U-G-E cheerleader for gratitude.  I have seen it do wonders for myself and those around me.  But, I also wanted to give my readers the science behind why a gratitude routine might be infectious!

Here are my top three reasons:

Reason 1: ROUTINES FOSTER POSITIVITY

I work with children in my daily life.  One of the big lessons we try to teach parents is that the more you expose your child to something, the more positive they become towards that thing.  The more you do something, the more you like doing it!  It's really simple!

Reason 2: ROUTINES FOSTER ENJOYMENT

So beyond just creating positivity, a routine done repeatedly eventually becomes enjoyable!  Scientifically we begin to enjoy doing something we routinely do.  Its funny but when we work with children, I always tell my tutors that the more they do something on Monday and Wednesdays at 5:30 with you, the more they are going to look forward to it.

Reason 3: The more you do something, the more you like doing something

So aside from just the basic benefits of being in gratitude, there are scientific benefits.  The more we can get you to do a gratitude list in a routine, the more you will look forward to making this list!.
